Louis Chih-Wei Chen

Dr. Louis Chih-Wei Chen (陳之偉) is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Google, California. He received his BS degree from National Taiwan University in 2006, and his MS and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 2008 and 2012, respectively. He was invited by the Irving T. Ho Foundation as an Honorary Irving T. Ho Fellow in 2007.

His research interests include computer vision and machine learning, with applications in ambient intelligence. His advisor was Professor Hamid Aghajan. He was awarded the Stanford University School of Engineering Graduate Fellowship in 2006 and the Taiwan Merit Scholarship in 2008.
