Wei-Jen Li

Wei-Jen Li (李偉任) is currently working as an engineer in the Manufacturing Product Engineering Department at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) in Tainan, Taiwan. He received double master degrees in European Master of Science in Photonics coordinated by Gent Universiteit, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and University of St Andrews in 2014. When he was an undergraduate in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at National Tsing Hua University, he spent one semester as an exchange student at Tsinghua University in 2011.

His research interests mainly focus on wide bandgap semiconductor material processing and characterization on biomedical applications. Furthermore, he did research on optical characterization of mycotoxins in food products when he was a master student in B-Phot of Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He received the Irving T. Ho Memorial Scholarship in 2013.
