Yen-Ling Kuo (郭彥伶) has been with Google in Mountain View, California since 2012. She was an visiting student at MIT Media Lab under the supervision of Prof. Henry Lieberman in 2011. She received her BS degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering with a minor in Physics as well as an MS degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Taiwan University (NTU) in 2009 and 2012, respectively. Her NTU advisor is Prof. Jane Hsu.


Yen-Ling's research interests include crowdsourcing, commonsense reasoning, multi-agent system, and social computing. In 2011, she spent her summer as an intern working at Google in Kirkland, Washington. She received the Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship and the Irving T. Ho Memorial Scholarship both in 2011. She further received the Best Master Thesis Award from Taiwanese Association of Artificial Intelligence (TAAI) in 2012.
