Shihao Huang

Shihao Huang (黃詩浩) is currently a PhD student in the Department of Physics at Xiamen University, China. He received his bachelor’s degree in the School of Science from Jimei University in 2009. He received the Irving T. Ho PhD Scholarship in 2012.

He is pursuing his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Cheng Li in the Semiconductor Photonics Research Center. His research interests include silicon based materials and related optoelectronic devices, especially in band-engineered germanium-on-silicon for efficient solid-state lighting. He has authored or co-authored more than 10 scientific papers.
