Hanbin (Hans) Hu

Hanbin (Hans) Hu (胡翰彬) is currently a master student in the Department of Micro/Nano-electronics at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). His advisor is Professor Guoyong Shi who leads the Mixed-Signal Design Automation (MSDA) Lab. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in the School of Microelectronics with a minor in Applied Physics from SJTU in 2013. He received the prestigious Irving T. Ho Memorial Scholarship in 2011.


His current research interests include Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Electronic Design Automation (EDA), and advanced circuit design techniques from system level to physical level. He has joined the MSDA Lab since 2012, and has conducted several research projects on symbolic analysis methods and model order reduction. As a result of his research, he has published two papers (ASICON-2013 and ISCAS-2015) and submitted one paper to ISCAS-2016. He also took internship twice at Synopsys, Shanghai in 2014 and 2015. He will pursue a PhD in the US starting Fall 2016.
