Hui (Alfred) Xu

Hui (Alfred) Xu (徐辉) is currently working at a startup company in the Science and Technology Park of Tongji University, Shanghai, China. He received his bachelor's degree and master's degree from the School of Microelectronics, Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2009 and 2012, respectively. In 2007 and 2008 when he was an undergraduate student, he received the prestigious Irving T. Ho Memorial Scholarship twice for his academic achievement.

His graduate research area lies in the field of Electronic Design Automation. Advised by Prof. Guoyong Shi, Alfred implemented a hierarchical symbolic simulator to ease analog circuit design when he was a master student. Now he joined a startup company aiming to improve the automation degree and construction quality of traditional civil engineering process with technology from computer science and the electronic field.
