Miao Li

Miao Li (李淼) is currently Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Platform Design Automation, a startup that he co-founded in Beijing, China in 2012 for providing EDA tools and solutions in design support. He received his BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University, China in 2006 and 2008, respectively. He received the Irving T. Ho Memorial Scholarship in 2005.

Before co-founding Platform Design Automation, he served as the lead technologist at Accelicon (based in Beijing), where he was responsible for developing advanced algorithms for model extraction and verification, and had developed many leading algorithms in optimization, parallel simulation, and reliability simulation. Accelicon was acquired by Agilent Technologies in February 2012. He has authored and co-authored over 15 technical papers.
